Project
“Improving depression care for older patients in public sector clinics.” Dr. Rodriguez’ RCMAR/CHIME-funded project was an intervention designed to improve the detection and management of depression among medically underserved older Latino patients attending community health centers in Los Angeles. Investigators conducted a cultural, age and site-specific adaptation of a depression care intervention and then implemented and tested the effectiveness of the modified intervention at the community health center (CHC).
