We’re thrilled to celebrate Dr. Leo Morales, who has been honored with this year’s Secretary’s Award at the Washington State Public Health for his work protecting and promoting the health of Latino communities in the Washington state and across the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Morales, a former UCLA RCMAR CHIME Alum (2002-2003), now serves as a professor and assistant dean for healthcare equity and quality at the UW School of Medicine. Additionally, he is the founding co-director of the Latino Center for Health at the University of Washington.
