Dr. Essien Honored for Innovative Research

Dr. Utibe Essien, MD, MPH, was awarded the prestigious 2024 Outstanding Junior Investigator of the Year Award by the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM). 

This accolade was presented to an early-career investigator who made significant and innovative research contributions with a demonstrable impact on general internal medicine. 

Dr. Essien was honored at SGIM’s annual meeting.
