Mirella Diaz-Santos, PhD, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences, University of California Los Angeles, Hispanic Neuropsychiatric Center of Excellence – Cultural Neuropsychology Program, Semel Institute for Neuroscience & Human Behavior. She received her doctorate from Boston University, completed internship at the University of Florida, and her clinical-research post-doctoral fellowships at The University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interests include healthy aging, Alzheimer’s disease, and health disparities in Latino/a older adults. Her professional interests are in the cultural and linguistic competency training within clinical neuropsychology, and cognitive neuroscience.
