Dr. Lourdes Guerrero is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research and Geriatrics. She is the Associate Director for the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) and TimeOut@UCLA (an intergenerational respite program for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia). She is also on the evaluation team for the NIH Diversity Program Consortium and UCLA Coordination and Evaluation Center. Dr. Guerrero has professional experience working in graduate medical education, higher education policy, and community-based social services and training. Her research interests include evaluation research, diversity in the biomedical workforce, and health disparities among caregivers and Latino student success models.
